This is my new collection. I aim to put together every stamp depicting the Colosseum in Rome - watch this space!
There'll also be other roman favourites such as the Pantheon, fountains, arches, columns, mosaics and frescoes.
I'm also collecting stamps from the UNESCO Campaigns to Save Venice and Pompeii.

France 2002 - European Capitals, Rome FDC CP
A First Day Cover postcard I received just today!
The postmark, dated 07 November 2002, shows St Peter's and ruins of the Roman Forum. The picture of the Colosseum is printed on silk.
